Archinews Network( ANN) was founded by in March 2007 during the annual event  of the Architectural Festival (ARCHYFEST 2007)  held in the Mara Institute of Technology ( UiTM) Sri Iskandar Campus, Perak, Malaysia with the theme “THINK”.

Initially, the idea purpose of creating this ANN group is to produce short architecture news videos structurally the same as the news that you can watch on television such as Asia News Network (ANN), Cable News Network (CNN) and not to forget our local news such as Buletin Utama at TV3 but this ANN tells you updates about the architectural life around UiTM, and reporting in news of the events we have succesfully managed during that time.

After receiving many encouraging response from the students and lecturers, we started planning a strategy on getting ANN to the next level by having its own website which will be used to deliver more news and information about architecture and the related field, locally and globally for EVERYONE. Unfortunately, our mission and visions came to an abrupt halt because of the lack of time and prioritising which is more priority which is at that time our studies. We postponed our visions till late 2009 where we started back on track right where we left of during 2007.

Now with the establishment of this websites, we have our own mission and vision that is to give as much information on the architecture world around us and any other fields related with daily updates.  This websites is the platform for the students, lecturers, professors, architects and even the contractors to share idea, joining discussions, talking on issues and lots more.  In addition, we can also establish a natural mutual network between the different people of the relating field.

This is the right place for you to show off your talent in design, art, writings, photography, leadership and also entrepreneurship.

With widely open arms, we welcome your contribution on design presentations, article writings on tutorial issues and lots more. We also encourage different architecture schools around the globe to report in your events with images to be published here and also any other post related.
