THE THEME
Nostalgia in short is a sentimental longing or a wistful affection for the past, sometimes for a period or place associated with a bittersweet moments.
The theme for this end of semester celebrates the yesteryear and bringing those who come to admire the work of the past to the most recent ones. This exhibition too is strongly relating back to the people who we have come to met in our lives, not necessarily face to face; the architects, our fellow educators, seniors and not to mention other schools of architecture.
NostalgiARCH is a tribute to all of them. It is an extension of our gratitude, respect and admiration, and most importantly, to look back to that moment of bittersweet we all share, that is architecture.
A stamp no matter old or new, is a commemoration of a past, serves as a memorial or a mark of a significant event or celebration. With it holds the data, period and time associated to that event. ARCO badge is the identity of the UTM KL school of architectue.
